1 STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM
We offer the International Japanese Studies Program
for exchange students from our partner universities, with options for a
one-semester or two-semester length program.
Students who meet the Japanese language requirement may also take academic
courses conducted in Japanese.
In addition, our short-term programs-the Meijo Study Tour and Laboratory
Experience-are available to students from both current and future partner
universities.
2 EXPERIENCE JAPAN
To provide exchange students with the opportunity to explore and experience Japan, we organize a variety of fieldwork and cultural activities throughout the program.
3 ANNUAL SCHEDULE
In addition to seasonal events held in Nagoya and across Japan, exchange students will also have the chance to enjoy campus activities at Meijo.

Student assistants are volunteer students and understand international students well. They offer help in everything from your everyday life to academic affairs so that you will not feel distressed when you first live alone in Japan. The friendships you build here will be lifelong treasures.

Although Nagoya is relatively more affordable compared to
Japan’s
two largest cities, Tokyo and Osaka, careful financial planning is essential
for a successful exchange student experience.
Here, we introduce the
living expenses of our previous exchange students.
Meijo
university offers a scholarship program for exchange students from our
partner universities.

2 CAMPUS
Meijo has three campuses in Nagoya: Tempaku Campus,
Dome-mae Campus, and Yagoto Campus. Each campus is equipped with comprehensive
facilities.
Our campuses and dormitory are conveniently located near subway
stations. You can reach the heart of the city in just 30 minutes from any of our
campuses.
3 DORMITORY
The well-maintained dormitory is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Tempaku Campus. By using the scholarship money granted to exchange students towards the rent, exchange students can stay at the university dormitory virtually free of charge.
